LAHORE: Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Imran Raza Kazmi hailed the role of the Sialkot tax lawyers in resolving issues of taxpayers and facilitating the business community.
He expressed these views during an oath taking ceremony of newly-elected office bearers of the Sialkot Tax Bar Association (STBA) at a local hotel.
The chief commissioner sought effective and positive suggestions from the tax lawyers regarding working relationship between the STBA and Regional Tax Office Sialkot.
He announced that problems of tax lawyers would be resolved on priority besides ensuring the early provision of land for establishing the expanded office of the STBA.
STBA President Muhammad Shakeel Khan, vice president Shahid Mehmood, general secretary Jawwad Sarwar Butt and others were also present on the occasion.
