Collector Ahmad Reza’s collectorate surpasses target by Rs 3m in April

SIALKOT: Under the supervision of Collector Ahmad Reza, the Model Customs Collectorate surpassed the assigned target by Rs 3 million during April 2016.

The Sialkot Customs collected revenue amounting to Rs 21.384 million against the target of Rs 18 million during the said period. the revenue was generated from Sialkot Dry Port Trust, Sialkot International Airport Limited, General Post Office and through auction.

Assistant Collector Zahid Bashir Chaudhary told Customs Today that the department collected Rs 14 million from Sialkot Dry Port Trust, Rs 3 million from Sialkot International Airport Limited, Rs 2.384 million from General Post Office, Sialkot and Rs 1 million from auction of various items.

The FBR had assigned target of Rs 18 million to the collectorate for April, which has been surpassed by collecting Rs 3 million more revenue, he said, adding that We are trying to achieve the annual target before the end of fiscal year.
