AMSTERDAM: The Netherlands exported nearly one billion kilos of pork last year, according to the national statistics office CBS. In total, pork exports reached 944 million kilos, a 6% rise on 2014 and a new record.
In money terms, exports totalled €1.7bn, a drop of 4% on 2014 because of lower prices. Exports to Asia doubled, the CBS said. The Netherlands is the sixth biggest exporter of pork worldwide.
