KUWAIT CITY: The Criminal Court Tuesday sentenced two Egyptians to death for smuggling huge quantities of drugs into the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to case papers police acting on information began investigations and managed to arrest one of the suspects when he entered the country with a truck from Iraq.
In the truck there was a huge quantity of drugs hidden in secret compartment. During preliminary interrogation he admitted to the charge and gave police the name of his accomplice who was waiting to receive the shipment.
