Kasur Excise impounds 120 non-customs duty paid vehicles

LAHORE: The Kasur Excise and Taxation Department has impounded 120 vehicles which were found non-customs duty paid.

Excise and Taxation Officer Malik Muhammd Aslam said that he started a crackdown in different areas of Kasur district. During the checking of vehicles, the team checked more than 309 vehicles in which 198 vehicles were found token tax defaulters.

The department generated outstanding amount in the wake of token tax during this campaign.

On the other hand, the excise started crackdown against defaulters of property tax, professional tax and token tax on special directions of Director General Excise Akram Ashraf Gondal.

Excise continued action against property tax defaulters and sealed many commercial properties in Kasur and Chunian. The department has sealed many motor workshops and shops in Kasur.
