Malaysia records RM9.9b FDI inflow in first quarter of 2016

KUALA LUMPUR: There is an upward trend in foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow in Malaysia, the Dewan Rakyat was told today.

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong said RM9.9 billion in FDI was recorded in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period last year. “A total of RM9.9 billion in FDI inflow was recorded in the first quarter of this year, which shows that there is a rising trend.
