SIALKOT: Customs Intelligence and Investigation department Gujranwala division team confiscated huge quantity of smuggled Indian origin cloth and beauty parlor items during road checking.
According to sources Assistant Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Gujranwala division Ms. Zainab Mehmood constituted a team under the supevision of Intelligence Officer Mian Muhammad Yousaf to check vehicles which are being used for transportation of smuggled goods.
During checking of vehciles at GT Road Intelligence Officer Mian Muhammad Yousaf along with his team intercepted a Toyota van and recovered huge quantity of smuggled Indian origin cloth and beauty parlor items worth Rs2,00,000. The team confiscated cloth and beauty parlor items. The team released driver after proper interrogation and forwarded the case to customs adjudication for further proceedings.
