FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan has issued four show cause notices involving customs duty and taxes worth Rs 4.5 million.
Sources told Customs Today that these show cause notices were issued to owners of cigarettes and vehicles as they failed to provide any relevant documents regarding possession of goods under their custody at the time of seizure.
Customs staff forwarded there cases to Customs Adjudication for further proceedings, who after examining the case issued them show cause notices asking them to appear personally before adjudication authority to explain their position.
