A division bench of the FST comprising of members, Dr Nazir Saeed and Ishtiaq Ahmed, adjourned the hearing till next month with directives to counsels to furbish final arguments on the “promotion” and “seniority” matters being heard by the bench.

The bench was hearing cases filed by Inam ul Haq, Muhammad Haroon, Moosa Jamali and Ajmal Khan and others. The petitioners are FBR’s employees and made submission against lethargy of the FBR to grant them their due promotion and seniority in the department.

The FBR counsel had filed objections on the cases which meant the department would contest the case before the tribunal bench.

Meanwhile, another bench of the FST comprising of members, Syed Muhammad Hamid and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah, dated the hearing in the office. Aziz ur Rehman and Tariq Tanveer had filed complaints on “implementation” and “dismissal” from job. Rehman sought implementations over FST earlier given decision while Tanveer had challenged his dismissal from services before the tribunal.
