Sialkot ASO seizes 100 crates of smuggled Rani Juice

SIALKOT: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) confiscated 100 crates of smuggled Rani Juice worth Rs 200,000 during an action.

As per details, ASO incharge Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary deployed Inspector Sheikh Ikram at GT Road to check vehicles in order to confiscate the smuggled juices.

The said inspector along with his team checked many vehicles meanwhile he intercepted a van and recovered 100 crates of Rani Juice. The officials demanded documents of customs clearance for the recovered juices from the driver.

But the driver could not produce the same; therefore, the officials seized the juices under the customs laws. The driver of the vehicle was released after proper interrogation.
