Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 10.4m as cotton fee in 10 months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department collected Rs 10.435 million under the head of cotton fee from July 2015 to April 2016 by achieving its annual target of Rs 23.3 million up to 45 percent.

It collected Rs 2.678 million from Faisalabad city against the assigned target of Rs 3.570 million, which has been achieved 75 percent. From Jhang, it collected Rs 1.045 million cotton fee against the target of Rs 3.792 million and achieved target up to 28 percent.

Meanwhile, the department collected Rs 428,000 against the target of Rs 866,000 from Chiniot by achieving target up to 49 percent. It collected Rs 6.284 million from Toba Tek Singh against the target of Rs 15.071 million and achieved annual target up to 42 percent.
