FIA arrests various human traffickers

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) crackdown against human traffickers cum proclaimed offenders and nabbed various human traffickers during raids in various areas of Gujranwala division.

Deputy Director FIA Khalid Anees constituted a team under the supervision of Inspector FIA Waqar Hussain Awan. The inspector along with his team raided Jalalpur Jattan (Gujrar) and nabbed accused Muhammad Shafique.

In another action, FIA Inspector Malik Nasir Majeed and Sub Inspector Muhammad Ali along with their team raided at Sialkot, Narowal and arrested two accused Rashid and Abdul Islam. The nabbed accused were involved in human trafficking since long. They sent people abroad on fake visas, documents and letter pads of various embassies and companies after extorting huge amount while people were deported from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Malaysia, Athens, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Japan etc.

Meanwhile teams detained two accused Sheikh Adnan and Khalid Mehmood who were involved in selling of Surf and other deficient items with brands of famous companies on cheap rates in markets. The teams have also recovered huge quantity of surf and other deficient items from the possession of accused. FIA registered the cases against them and further investigation is under process.
