WASHINGTON: Rapeseed exports of Bulgaria in 2016 (July-April) amounted to 294.3 KMT. The EU countries are the main importers. They account for more than 68%, or 201.1 KMT of the total export volume to world markets. Export figures lowered by 37% compared to the same period in 2015.
In May, as of 09/05/2016 rapeseed exports were not carried out. The Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria announced that the stocks of this product reached 107.1 KMT at the beginning of May. Export figures in the current month are estimated at the level of 54 KMT.
