IHC single bench will hear tax reference filed by M/s WiTribe today

ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Islamabad High Court will hear on Tuesday (today) a tax reference of M/s WiTribe Pakistan Limited seeking stoppage of recovery of outstanding tax of Rs 4.3 million.

The single bench of the IHC comprising Justice Aamer Farooq will hear the case. The appellant had challenged a recovery order of hte Large Taxpayers’ Unit, dated January 1, 2016. The LTU had issued the order stating the recoverable outstanding tax of Rs 4.3 million for the tax year 2009. The order was issued under provisions of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
