LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 21 different cases, which were scheduled for hearing on Tuesday.
The court accepted the bail plea of three suspects, allegedly involved in a smuggling case. The court approved the bail plea of an accused against surety bonds, which were submitted before the court.
Meanwhile, the court adjourned bail pleas of Muhammad Afzal, Maqsood Ali and Mian Waqas Riaz.
The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for hearing in which Court ordered prosecution teams to complete investigation challans as soon as possible.
The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day.
