BELFAST: More than 10 kilos of suspected cocaine has been seized at George Best Belfast City Airport.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of more than £500,000, were discovered during Border Force checks on Sunday.
On Tuesday, a man from the Republic of Ireland appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court charged with the illegal importation of a Class A drug.
Shane James Delaney, 30, from Kilkenny, was remanded in custody.
He will reappear at the same court next week.
