KARACHI: Quetta Modal Customs Collectorate has impounds two non-customs paid luxury vehicles and six heavy duty generators during a successful raid.
Quetta Collector Saeed Wajdan received information the said vehicles and generators will be supplied to out of city through a container. Consequently, he formed a team under the supervision of Additional Collector Fareed Khan and Deputy Director Aman Ullah Tareen. The team formed a check post at Wardek Road and start the checking of vehicles. The team intercepted a truck and recovered two vehicles worth Rs 6.5 million and six heavy duty generators worth Rs 1.2 million.
The officials asked the driver about customs clearance documents but he remained failed to satisfy them. Therefore the team seized the items and arrested two persons including driver.
