Excise starts crackdown against token tax defaulters, unregistered vehicles

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Motor Registration Authority (MRA) has started operation against token tax defaulter and unregistered vehicles.

Under the supervision of Ahmed Saeed and Meher Afzal Goraya, two teams (A&B) have been formed, while each team will be consisting of 15 members.

The team ‘A’ will check the vehicles Jaranwala Road, Sheikpur Road, Sargodha Road and Jhumra Road. Similarly, the team ‘B’ will check the Satyana Road, Samundri Road, Jhang Road.

Official informed that that all the regions of excise had been directed to carry out special crackdown against token tax defaulters and unregistered vehicles. The crackdown will generate more revenue and help the department in achieving the target for current fiscal year 2015-16.
