ANF seizes over 45kg heroin, 200kg hashish in Karachi

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Friday seized huge quantity of drugs in different raids and apprehended four accused.

According to a statement, ANF on a tipoff conducted a raid on Al Hafeez Building near Masjid Hafzaan, recovered 41kg of heroin and arrested an accused.

In another raid, the ANF conducted a raid on a house near Baloch School, Lyari and recovered 7.8kg opium, 2.5kg heroin and 200kg high quality hashish. Owner of the said house, Liaquat Baloch was also arrested. The ANF officials at Jinnah International Airport arrested 2 passengers, after recovery of 2.150kg heroin from their possession. The accused were travelling to Jeddah. cases have been registered and further investigations are underway.
