Quetta Customs foils attempts to smuggle laptops, plastic granules

KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations, Quetta, has foiled bids to smuggle a huge quantity of plastic granules and laptops during different crackdowns.

Sources told Customs Today that the diretcor Customs Intelligence and Investigations received secret information about some smuggling attempts. He formed a team under the supervision of deputy director.  The team started checking of vehicles in main entry and exit points of Quetta city. During the checking, the customs team intercepted a Mazda truck and recovered 80 Dell 5547 laptops. The market value of the seized laptops is Rs 4 million.
