In the last hearing, the counsel for the respondents’ department had requested for some time to submit para-wise comments.

Earlier, the petitioner’s counsel stated that petitioner is filing his returns through e-filing of income tax and sales tax returns. However, petitioner was informed that his sales tax registration has been suspended on May 11, 2016 by officials of the tax authorities.

Citing FBR chairman, Inland Revenue commissioner & incharge of Investigation and Prosecution as the respondents, the petitioner pleaded the SHC to set aside impugned order of the respondents and restore its sales tax registration.
