ISLAMABAD: The government has further extended the deadline for 0.4 percent withholding tax on banking transaction till June 30, 2016.
The government has giving several extension on reduced rate of withholding tax on banking transactions, against 0.6 percent announced in the budget for the ongoing fiscal year in June 2015.
Meanwhile, the Board’s notification has not mentioned the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme that was also extended to May 31.
