KARACHI: Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) recovered a revenue of Rs56456 million during the month of May. This collection is Rs243million more as compared to the collection during the month of April.
According to sources Regional Tax Office collected Rs56213 milion during April, while in May RTO-III collected Rs56456 million. Sources said that Rs2729 million were collected as sales tax, Rs52million as federal excise duty, and Rs53675 were collected under the head of income tax.
Prior to this RTO-III collected Rs56213 million in the month of April from which Rs53530 million were collected as income tax, Rs2634 million as sales tax and Rs49 million as federal excise duty (FED).
