ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has proposed to omit clauses 1,2 and 2a of serial no. VIII of SRO 78(1)/2004. The SRO was issued on 7th August, 2004.
According to these clauses of SRO, all E and P companies are bound to develop their online software with customs authorities and they have to complete this process within one year. Sources told Customs Today that after launching of WeBOC system, all E and P companies are processing their data through Web Base One Customs (WeBOC) so there is no need of such clauses .
