KARACHI: Custom Court Judge Faiz Rasool Rashdi has granted the pre-arrest bail to Asim Attaullah, who was booked in a case of alleged mis-declaration.
During the hearing, the counsel for the applicant submitted that the accused is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The applicant counsel added that he already had paid Rs 4.4 million to the customs authorities yet they claimed mis-declaration.
The accused submitted that he is willing to face trail of this case, however, has apprehension of his arrest. He requested the court to grant him a bail.
After hearing the arguments, the court granted bail to accused Asim Attaullah against the surety bonds of Rs 200,000 for 15 days.
