ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Kh Muhammad Asif has claimed that there would be no loadshedding during Sehr and Iftar timings during the holy month of Ramazan.
While talking to media, he said despite severe heat, there is no unannounced loadshedding in the country. He said electricity shortfall has reduced to 4,000 megawatts.
The minister said that the government has closed some plants that produce expensive electricity, which can also be utilised if needed. Kh Asif said there are hundreds of feeders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where zero loadshedding is being observed.
