Customs Court hears 23 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 23 cases which were scheduled for hearing on Tuesday.

The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling proceeded on many cases while few were adjourned without any progress.

The Customs Court also proceeded on three different cases of pre-arrest bails, including Sayed Jahanzaib Bukhari, Aslam and Naseer Butt. All of the bail pleas were adjourned for new dates. Bail petitions were moved by the accused in different cases of sales tax evasion and smuggling.

Custom Court also proceeded on post arrest bail pleas of Muhammad Rafique that is adjourned for new date.

Court also adjourned that cases of Khursheed Ahmad, Sharafat Ali, Ijaz Shaukat and Ghafar Khan after different kinds of proceedings.
