LAHORE: A team of Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations on Wednesday detained a non-customs paid Land Cruiser worth Rs 3 million.
Sources said that the vehicle was allegedly in use of ex-governor Punjab Mustfa Khar. It was added that the Land Cruiser bearing registration no. JSA/296 was registered at the Muzafargarh Excise and Taxation Department and was detained by the Customs Intelligence tam near Tamasil Theater.
The sources said that the vehicle was being used on fake documentation. The Land Cruiser was brought to a workshop by drive Akhtar for maintenance. Sources said that the customs authorities after registering a case have started investigations.
