Customs needs more resources for better results: Additional Collector Sialkot Faiz Ali

SIALKOT: Additional Collector of Model Customs House Sialkot Faiz Ali has said that the customs officials are running the Customs Department with limited resources and limited budget.

Faiz Ali said that it is appreciable that the customs staff is performing its duties to strengthen the economy with limited sources. He said that the government should facilitate Customs Department and increasing powers of the officers to curb smuggling and solutions of other customs matters.

He said that the exporters of Sialkot are back bone of Pakistan with reference of economy of Pakistan. He said that the Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s) are encouraged to exporters for use a legal way. He further said that the Customs department try to increase import and export for strengthen the economy of Pakistan.
