Customs Appraisement surpasses revenue target by 24% in May

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement surpassed revenue target by 24 percent as it collected Rs 7089 million in wake of duty/taxes against the target of Rs 5738 million in May, 2016.

As per details, the collectorate collected Rs 2057 million as custom duty against the target of Rs 2005 million, while it generated Rs 565 million in wake of withholding tax against the of target Rs 516.

On the other hand, the Lahore Appraisement collected Rs 4461million under the head of sales tax against the target Rs 3200 million. It also collected Rs 4.76 million as federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs 15 million.

Overall, the collectorate collected Rs 7089 million duty/taxes, registering a growth of 24 percent over set target during the said period.
