Collectorates in Karachi told to remain open till late hours on June 29-30

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed Customs Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Customs Appraisement-East and Customs Appraisement-West to be in their offices till 8pm on last Saturday and 10pm on last Sunday of the current month.

In this regard, a notification has been issued in which the FBR has asked officials of the Collectorates to stay in their offices on the last two days of the current month i.e. June 29 and June 30, 2016 at 8pm and 10pm, respectively.

Furthermore, the FBR authorities concerned have also asked the authorities conecerned of field formation Collectorates to remain in their offices at the last Saturday and Sunday of the current month at 8.00pm and 10pm respectively due to the end of Fiscal Year2015-16.

It is also mention here that the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) branches including Custom House Branch, West Wharf Branch and Port Qasim Branch would also remain open till 10.00pm on 29th June and 30th June for collecting revenue at the end of FY2015-16.
