Customs Court adjourns bail pleas of four suspects in different cases

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has adjourned pre-arrest bail pleas of four accused in different cases.

Sources told Customs Today that 12 cases of different kinds were scheduled for hearing on Thursday. The court adjourned a number of cases after hearings and issued necessary directions.

Customs court issued arrest warrants of the accused in sales tax evasion case and adjourned four pre arrest bail pleas. Bail pleas were filed by Raza Ali Shah, Abdul Razzaq, Sheikh Muhammad Ismail and Tuaraf Ali Shah. The court after hearing of the arguments adjourned all pleas until next hearing. Sheikh Muhammad Ismail is wanted in a case of tax evasion.

Cases against Amjad Ali, Saleem Khan, Zaheeruddin, Iqbal Dastgir, Muhammad Asim and Muhammad Nasir were also scheduled for hearing but the court has adjourned the same for next dates.
