ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Saturday approved demand of grants worth Rs 865,189,625,000 for Defence Division for the fiscal year 2016-17.
The demand of grants was presented to the House by Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar. The demand grants include a sum 1,500,614,000 for Defence Division, Rs 1,162,353,000 for Survey of Pakistan, Rs 860,000,000,000 for Defence Services and 2,526,658,000 for development expenditure of Defence Division.
