MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation will hold auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods today.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs Intelligence and Investigation is going to organize second public auction on Thursday (today) for generation of revenue. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range office has already conducted first auction during the second week of June where Customs Intelligence authorities generated Rs 24.2 million. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan has obtained approval from the Federal Board of Revenue for the second auction. The auction list of the presented lots have been issued by Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan have presented six various vehicles including Toyota Corolla G ,Toyota Hilux Surf,Toyota Mercedes Benz ,Toyota Crown ,Toyota Vitz and one truck. Customs Intelligence have also offered other miscellaneous goods in the auction which includes 26000 liters of High Speed Diesel ,13 heavy duty generators, welding rods and nine various LEDs.There are some used engines and auto parts of the vehicle also offered for public auction.
The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office is presenting all those vehicles and various goods which were riped up and their seizure cases were properly concluded after the adjudication of seized goods. The Customs Intelligence authorities are trying to generate more revenue before the end of the on-going fiscal year 2015-16.
Deputy Director Naveed Ur Rehman Bughvi will supervise the whole auction process in Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range office Khanewal Road Rajapur. Auctioneer Muhammad Akram will conduct the auction of seized vehicles and goods .
