Custom seizes 18,000 liters Iranian diesel

KARACHI: Modal Customs Colletorate of Hyderabad Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) has seized 18000 liters Iranian oil during a successful raid.

Hyderabad Custom Collectorate received information from reliable sources a huge quantity of Iranian diesel was supplied out of city. Consequently he formed a team under the supervision of Deputy Collector included inspector Shah Murad, Safder Jokheo and Rmzan. The team established a check point between the way of Lari Adda and Sangum Market and started the checking of vehicles. The officials intercepted a truck and during the search the team found 18,000 liters Iranian diesel. The ASO team seized the fuels and arrested two persons who were involved in this guilty smuggling. The Anti Smuggling officials said that estimated value of seized diesel is more than 1 million. The team also impounds the truck which was filled by fuel and the value of truck is more than 40 million.
