Forex reserves up by $270 million

KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $21,770.5 million on June 17, 2016. Foreign reserves held by the SBP stood $16,815.5m while net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are $4,955.0m.

SBP’s liquid FX reserves increased by $270 million to $16,816 million, compared to $16,546 million in the previous week. During the week, SBP received $370 million from multilateral, bilateral and other official sources, which include $107 million from World Bank.–Staff Reporter
