FBR directs customs to trace ‘ghost’ employees

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has instructed the all Customs House of the country to trace the absent ‘ghost’ and fake certificate and degree holders employees

The higher authorities of all Customs Houses in the country including Model Customs House Sialkot are nowadays trying to get a clue to trace absent and fake certificate and degree holders employees of the offices of Customs House. FBR has directed the Customs department to search out such employees who are getting their salaries without doing any duty and who have fake educational certificates and degrees.

Sources told Customs Today that department has started the process of identification and for this purpose the on duty employees is being monitored to apprehend the non-attendant and ‘ghost’ employees. Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar Abro and, Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary and Superintendent Naeem khan are assigned task to find the miscreant employees and for this purpose they will conduct the interviews of working employees of the office after Eid-Ul-Fitar. The department has sent educational certificates and degrees to concerned Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Universities.
