FIA arrests three human traffickers in separate raids

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started a special crackdown on human traffickers who are involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.

According to the FIA spokesperson, the agency has arrested three notorious human traffickers and agents. In a raid, the FIA arrested a suspect identified as Muhammad Riaz son of Easa Khan who is resident of Sabri Mohallah tehsil Malikwal district Mandi Bahuddin. He was nominated in a case FIR No 138 / 2016 dated 10-06-2016 under section of 17/22 E.O 1979. The accused is a land route agent.

Spokesperson of FIA said that they arrested accused Abbas son of Ghulam Raza Shah, a resident of Noor Hayat Colony Bhalwal District Sargodha who is nominated in case FIR No 157/ 2016 dated 24.06.2016 u/s 17/22 E.O 1979. The FIA team also arrested Faizan Munir son of Munir Ahmed, a resident of Mohallah Sultan Pura Guliana tehsil Kharian District Gujrat Cnic number in case FIR No 156/ 2016 dated 24.06.2016 u/s 17/22 E.O 1979. He was also land route agent and was wanted in many cases. FIA has alao recovered fake documents and other relevant material from their possessions.
