FBR issues income tax notice to Commissioner Lahore

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notice to Commissioner of Lahore Abdullah Sumbal as he had failed to submit his income tax returns.

Sources told Customs Today that Federal Board of Revenue has issued this notice to the commissioner Lahore for not filing income tax returns from 2013 to 2015. Sources also said that Abdullah Sumbal did not file his wealth tax details to the FBR. Now the Federal Board of Revenue has issued him a notice to file his tax returns and also submit wealth tax details.

It is pertinent to mention here that FBR is very active and is issuing notices to all those non filers who failed to submit their income tax returns. Earlier FBR had also issued notices to many DMG officers of Lahore and Sheikhupura and even officers of Punjab excise. FBR has asked Abdullah Sumbal to file his tax returns as soon as possible.
