300kg ganja seized in Khon Kaen

KHON KAEN: Highway police seized 300 kilogrammes of compressed marijuana from an abandoned car after a chase early Sunday.

Pol Col Apichart Phochan, commander of Khon Kaen Highway Police, said the seizure was made at about 3am after a black Bangkok-registered Toyota Vios car broke through a checkpoint between kilometres 360 and 361 on Mitraphap road at tambon Muang Wan in Nam Phong district without stopping for a search.
