3 caught with 2.2kg of heroin in belly

RIYADH: Saudi airport customs inspectors foiled an attempt by three passengers to smuggle nearly 2.2kg of heroin hidden in their bellies. The three passengers were on board of a flight arriving in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah and were separately discovered by the suspecting inspectors.

‘Sada’ newspaper said scanning showed one passenger was hiding 130 capsules containing 990gm of heroin inside his stomach while another had 81 capsules containing 616gm. The third passenger was caught with 603gm of heroin, the paper said without identifying the three.
