Saudi customs foil attempt to smuggle gold in car aboard a ship

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah port customs officers recently foiled a gold smuggling attempt, it was reported on Sunday.

Acting Director General of Customs of Jeddah Islamic Port Saad al-Bagmi said that a private car aboard a sea vessel approached the customs desk at the entrance gate of the port for routine customs check.
