LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved two projects worth Rs22,596.073 million (about Rs 22.6 billion).
These schemes were approved in the second meeting of the PDWP of fiscal year 2016-17, presided over by Planning and Development Board Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Planning and Development Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo and other members also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes are: the Public Building Sector scheme of Acquisition of Land for Expansion of Punjab Forensic Science Agency Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore (Rs333.4 million); and Health Sector scheme of Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) (Rs22,262.63 million).
