DOHA: Algeria and Qatar signed 15 agreements including a bilateral trade agreement on mutual administrative assistance of the Customs Code and a memorandum of understanding relating to several sectors such as education, higher education, communication, tourism, sports, youth and fishing.
An agreement for cooperation and exchange of information between the agency Algeria Press Service (APS) and his Qatari counterpart QNA was also signed between the two countries.
On the administrative and customs components, Algeria and Qatar also signed a bilateral agreement on mutual administrative assistance for a suitable application of the Customs Code and the fight against customs offenses.
In addition, the Chairman of the Group BeIN Sport, Nasser al-Khelifi, revealed that discussions are underway with the Algerian Televisions Company for the purchase of sports events broadcasting rights.
During his meeting with Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal in Doha, the President of BeIN Sport Group, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, said that an agreement will be reached with the Algerian TV for negotiations on sporting events including the rights of broadcasting held by his network.
