LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two human traffickers in separate raids.
Sources told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided a locality at Gujranwala and arrested Asad Alyas.
In another action, the FIA team arrested human trafficker Munawar Hussain from Gujrat. The accused is involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.
The FIA has registered cases against these accused persons under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens. Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bugus documents and also looted millions of rupees by showing them golden dreams of their lucid future abroad. FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries. Number of complaints were registered against these accuses in this regard. FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
