LAHORE: The Collectorate of Customs Preventive will hold a get together for the officers and staff at the Air Freight Unit (AFU) at the Allama Iqbal airport today.
Chief Collector of Customs Samaira Nazir will be the chief guest on the occasion who will also address the officers and staff. Collector of Customs Preventive Zulfiqar Younas will also address the officers and officials of the collectorate.
On the occasion, the chief collector and collectors will distribute shield and certificates among the best performers of the collectorate.
The collectorate will also recognize the services of the best retired officers who serve the Customs department tirelessly. The collectorate will also hold a musical program for the staff of the collectorate to entertain them.
Collector of Customs Preventive told Customs Today that the event is being held to encourage the employees who have been performing exceptionally and contributed to the development of the Customs department.
He add that such activities are instrumental in motivating the employees to perform better even further.
Human capital is one of the most important sections of any department and investment in the section come handy in the development and growth of the departments, he added.
