The team comprising Inspector Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Inspector Shoaib Ali and others established a check post at exit points of the city and started searching of vehicles. Meanwhile, the officials intercepted a container for checking that led to the recovery of three heavy duty generators.

The customs staff asked the driver to show document regarding legal import of the generators but he could not produce the same. Therefore, the officials impounded the generators worth Rs 1 million.

During another action, the Quetta Customs Intelligence confiscated Italian dinner sets from a godown. The intelligence team following information raided a godown in Virdik and recovered 120 dinner sets made of glass.
