KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) Directorate General Customs Valuation in Karachi has revised customs values of low-end garments.
Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon revised the customs values of garments low-end brands of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, UAE, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam vide Valuation Ruling No.886/2016.
The customs values of men’s suit (2-piece coat & pants) of China/Vietnam are fixed at $20/suit; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $22/suit; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $21/suit; all other origins at $24/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, men’s suit (2-piece coat & pants) of all types were valued at $48/dozen.
The customs values of men’s blazer coat of China/Vietnam are fixed at $13/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $14.3/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $13.65/pc; all other origins at $15.6/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, men’s blazer/coat of all types were valued at $24.60/dozen.
The customs values of gents/ladies trousers, dress pants, jeans and lowers of China/Vietnam are fixed at $7/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $7.7/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $7.35/pc; all other origins at $8.4/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, gents/ladies trousers, dress pants, jeans and lowers of all types were valued at $22.80/dozen.
The customs values of gents/ladies shirt/T-shirt of China/Vietnam are fixed at $4/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $4.4/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $4.2/pc; all other origins at $4.8/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, gents/ladies shirt/T-shirt of all types were valued at $21.60/dozen.
The customs values of gents/ladies jackets/sweaters (non-woolen) of China/Vietnam are fixed at $6/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $6.6/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $6.3/pc; all other origins at $7.2/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, gents/ladies jackets/sweaters of all types were valued at $24.60/dozen.
The customs values of ladies’ upper/top/blouse of China/Vietnam are fixed at $3.25/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $3.575/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $3.412/pc; all other origins at $3.9/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, ladies upper/top/blouse of all types were valued at $12/dozen.

As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, boys suit (2-piece coat & pants) of all types were valued at $24/dozen.
The customs values of boys & girls shirts/T-shirts, Medi Frock of China/Vietnam are fixed at $2.75/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $3.025/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $2.88/pc; all other origins at $3.3/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, boys & girls shirts/T-shirts, Medi Frock of all types were valued at $10.5/dozen.
The customs values of boys & girls formal dress pants/trouser/jeans of China/Vietnam are fixed at $3.1/pc; of Indonesia/Thailand, Malaysia/UAE are fixed at $3.41/pc; of Bangladesh/Sri Lanka at $3.255/pc; all other origins at $3.72/suit. As per defunct Valuation Ruling No.825/2016, boys & girls shirts/T-shirts, Medi Frock of all types were valued at $10.5/dozen.
