PRA imposes Rs 19.9m sales tax on DJ Butt

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has imposed sales tax of Rs 19.9 million on famous DJ Butt. He was summoned by PRA due to his alleged involvement in sales tax evasion case.

Earlier, the PRA had served a tax notice worth Rs. 19.9 million on DJ Butt as the PTI sit-in fame DJ still failed to pay taxes after receiving notices.

DJ Butt is under hot waters ever since he has come on the media to get his bad debts recovered from the PTI. DJ Butt hasn’t recovered the amount from the PTI as yet but the PRA had already served him notice of Rs 17.2 million and has summoned him on July 23. Now the authority has imposed a sales tax to pay.

PRA sources told Customs Today that DJ Butt has earned millions of rupees by providing services of DJ and lights etc in different political functions and other ceremonies as well. He will have to pay all taxes according to law.
