ISLAMABAD: Shiraz Ali, a BS-18 officer of Inland Revenue Service Group, has been allowed to avail scholarship for Masters in South Korea.
The officer, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Peshawar, has been allowed to avail Global Ambassador Scholarship for Masters in Development Policy at KDI School of Public Policy and Management, South Korea Scholarship Programme from August 29.
According to the Board’s notification, the period (the total duration of the course is 18 months) of his scholarship/study abroad will be treated as deputation. The performance allowance (equivalent to 100 per cent of the basic pay) admissible to the officer, will remain discontinued during the deputation period, it added.
